About the author
GeoSequence was built as a single environment for practical sequence stratigraphy: from well-log and core loading to paleogeographic reconstructions, seismic interpretation and export into industry formats. The project is developed by the author based on hands-on work with sedimentary successions and production interpretation tasks.

Method authors and acknowledgements
The platform implements and combines approaches developed by researchers in sequence and cyclostratigraphy:
- O. Catuneanu — systems tracts and stratigraphic surfaces model, accommodation and shoreline-trajectory concepts.
- P. R. Vail, Exxon Production Research — seismic sequence stratigraphy, global sea-level cycles.
- V. S. Muromtsev — electrometric facies models based on SP/GR curve shape.
- B. U. Haq, K. G. Miller — global eustatic sea-level curves.
- H. E. Wheeler — chronostratigraphic (Wheeler) diagrams and the hiatus concept.
- GPlates / EarthByte — plate reconstruction models.
- IUGS ICS and Russian MSK — stratigraphic charts.
Special thanks to my colleagues — geologists and sedimentologists — who inspired the creation of this project and tested the modules on real data, and to the open-source projects (Leaflet, D3, TanStack, Tauri) without which this platform would not have been possible.
License
The GeoSequence web edition is released freely under the MIT license: use, copy, modify and redistribute, provided the copyright notice is retained. The software is provided "as is", without warranty; the author is not liable for decisions made on the basis of interpretation results.
The desktop build (Windows, local SEG-Y engine, offline mode) is distributed with an individual key. The licensing model is not final yet: builds are shared for testing on request, free of charge, with a time-limited key. Final commercial terms will be published later.
